Bringing joy and smiles to children, Flamengo's Social Responsibility department distributed gifts to children and young people from Morro do Tuiuti, a community located in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, on Tuesday (17). The children are part of the Geração UPP Craques da Paz social project, from the Pacification Police Unit in the region.

The mascot Urubão was in action, delivering gifts, interacting with the children and participating in the party's entertainment, which also included the distribution of snacks for everyone. 

The gifts, consisting of a set of clothes and a new toy, were collected through the sponsorship campaign promoted annually by the Club's Social Responsibility department. This campaign unites members, employees, and athletes to benefit children and young people from socially vulnerable backgrounds, providing an unforgettable experience for them during this festive season. In total, 100 Christmas gifts were distributed. 

"We are very honored and grateful for Flamengo's gesture towards our children. It was a year of many achievements for the UPP Craques da Paz Generation, which comes to an end with the most beloved club bringing joy to our champions," thanked Major Vinícius Oliveira, Senior Officer and Community Police Advisor for the CPP.

The action reinforced Flamengo's commitment to social responsibility and the promotion of inclusion and solidarity in socially vulnerable communities, demonstrating that it is always possible to contribute to more promising realities.
