Flamengo donates hand sanitizer and basic food baskets on Ladeira dos Tabajaras

By Communication - Flamengo - inOn the morning of this Thursday (30), Flamengo carried out another delivery of the "SOS Favela/Viva Rio" and "Nação Solidária, Flamengo champion on and off the field" campaigns. This time, at Ladeira dos Tabajaras, in Copacabana. Residents of the community received basic food baskets and alcohol gel. The action was supported by the Raiz da Bola project.
In the afternoon, in a second action, Mais Querido went to Mangueira, where it donated the hygiene item accompanied by the residents' association.
"Today, Flamengo scored another stunning goal. They brought food baskets to the tables of several families in Ladeira dos Tabajaras, which will feed dozens of people, including children, parents, and the elderly. Satisfying their hunger is a way to bring hope, peace of mind, and, above all, harmony. It's important to emphasize that most of the people responsible for these families are informal workers. The coronavirus will pass, but many favelas will take a long time to recover. So, I'd like to thank the club for this action. Those who help us will never be forgotten," said Reinaldo Reis, president of Raiz da Bola.
