Last week, Flamengo entered into a partnership with Fonseca (Niterói), Grau 10 (North Zone), Jacarepaguá TC, Palmeira (Petrópolis), and Recreativo Caxiense (Duque de Caxias) to recruit and develop athletes. From now on, the five futsal clubs will be satellites of Mais Querido. The agreement was formalized in the presence of Vitor Zanelli, Vice President of Youth Football, and representatives from each institution.

The selection of different regions of Rio de Janeiro is precisely to broaden the search for players. Throughout the month, Flamengo scouts will make monthly visits and watch the teams' games. Professionals from the clubs will also be able to attend training sessions in Gávea. The idea is to closely monitor the players' development. Flamengo will always have the first choice.

"Our goal is to increasingly expand our work. With this project, we want to help futsal and Rio's neighborhood clubs and share our knowledge. This is the beginning of a partnership, and we hope to support more teams in the future. We intend to discover and train players. We will help train the five teams and strive to raise the level of the sport," stated Zanelli.

"As part of the recruitment department's strategic vision, we understand the importance of being increasingly close to regions where new talent traditionally emerges. Therefore, the satellite club project aims to bring together futsal clubs that are playing in the federation's championship and Flamengo. Our scouts will be accompanying the five partners during training and matches. We seek to define strategic locations to increase our reach in discovering new talent," said Luiz Carlos Junior, Flamengo's Youth Football Recruitment Coordinator.
