Flamengo has joined the Km Solidário app and, for each kilometer covered by the athletes on the field, in the classic against Vasco, R$50 will be donated to the Protea Institute, a non-profit institution that pays for breast cancer treatment for low-income women.

 

The app, the club's partner in this initiative, converts the kilometers covered in physical activities into donations to partner institutions. Simply access the app. @kmsolidarioapp, choose your preferred institution, start your physical activity, and that's it! Download the Km Solidário app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), follow the action, and help yourself too!

 

"Flamengo is pleased to support fundraising to cover the cost of breast cancer diagnostic tests and treatment. It's crucial to raise awareness about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis in the treatment of breast and cervical cancer. Early diagnosis significantly increases the chances of a cure," said Angela Machado, Flamengo's Director of Social Responsibility.

We conceived this initiative during Pink October, transforming kilometers covered on the field into donations for breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. At the end of the match, Flamengo's women's soccer Performance Analysis team will send the Km Solidário app a report with the kilometers covered on the field by the players.
