Flamengo and Havan agree to sponsor the uniform sleeve
The agreement with the red-black football club runs until December of this year; the contract will first have to be approved by the club's Deliberative Council.
By Flamengo and Havan - inHavan, Brazil's largest department store chain, has signed a deal to become the new sponsor of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. The retail giant will be featured on the sleeves of the professional soccer team's uniforms until December 2021.
"Havan, with its network of nearly 160 stores throughout Brazil and its strong commercial expertise, will be another important partner. We are very pleased to have reached this agreement. It's another successful company joining Flamengo. Now we await the club's board approval of the contract so we can begin work," says Gustavo Oliveira, Flamengo's vice president of Communications and Marketing.
Havan's New Business Manager, Lucas Hang, emphasized that the partnership represents a historic meeting. "Havan has always believed in and supported the sport. We are traditionally passionate about soccer. We are very happy to join the club and the Red-Black Nation. Just like Flamengo, Havan has a special, loving relationship with its customers, whom we affectionately call fans. This is undoubtedly the union of a great club and a great company. It will be a winning partnership!" he said.
The Havan logo is expected to appear on the shirt sleeves as soon as the Club's Deliberative Council approves the contract.
