This Tuesday (19), Flamengo, in partnership with sponsor Orthopride, promoted another action of the “Time do Sorriso” project. This time, the event was held at the NGO Aldeias Infantis SOS Brasil, which is located in the Boiúna neighborhood, West Zone of RJ.

Around 50 children, accompanied by their parents, received explanations about the importance of oral hygiene. Additionally, dentists present at the event provided guidance and tips on brushing their teeth and distributed kits containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, and Flamengo masks.

"We work with families in extreme social vulnerability, where access to services is very difficult. When Flamengo and Orthopride arrived and presented their knowledge, it's something they'll carry with them for many years to come. When the children use the kits we distributed, they'll always remember their favorite team, Flamengo," said Jurema Teodoro da Silva, the NGO's family development assistant.

During the event, some children who needed braces were referred to one of the Orthopride clinics in the Freguesia region for further treatment. It's worth noting that this was the fifth event Mais Querido has conducted as part of the "Time do Sorriso" project.
