The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro announce that Flamengo will remain with the Gasômetro land, a measure that was formalized in a term of commitment with the consent of the Municipality, this morning, at the Palácio da Cidade. 

The Club will therefore continue with feasibility studies and development of the project, an essential step to ensure its future implementation.

These studies, initiated at least eight months ago by Flamengo's current management, promoted technical and economic evaluations, conducted by specialized companies and consultancies, such as FGV, Arena Venues + Events, Soloeste Engenharia Ltda. and AECOM.

Due to the need for further development, the parties also agreed to extend the deadlines required for project execution, as well as adjust obligations, ensuring legal certainty and full continuity of the initiative.

Flamengo and the Municipality remain aligned and committed to making the proposal viable, for the benefit of the city, the Club's members and its thousands of fans.
