Flamengo is the four-time Brazilian table football champion

The XII Brazilian Table Football Championship - 9x3 dice modality - was held this weekend, at the Grajaú Tennis Club, with the participation of 32 teams, including: Flamengo, Vasco, Fluminense, Botafogo, América-RJ, Corinthians-SP, Avaí-SC, Nacional-AM.

The red-and-black team put on a show over the two days of competition. Athletes Ronald Neri, Ricardo Mendonça, Maia Júnior, Lucas Mendonça, Carlos Eduardo Laranjeira, and Wellington Nazaré were undefeated champions, with 17 wins and four draws. This was the club's fourth National Interclub Table Football title. The previous titles were won in 4, 4, and 2012.

The event was organized by the Brazilian Table Football Confederation (CBFM), in partnership with the Table Football Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Fefumerj).

Flamengo's next national challenge will be the Brazilian individual championship, which will be held on October 15th and 16th at Corinthians' headquarters in São Paulo.
