The red-black team needs a victory to continue in the competition

Next Saturday (27), Flamengo tennis players will face Tijuca Tênis Clube in a decisive duel valid for the Rio de Janeiro Amateur Tennis Interclub League.
The team is coming off a loss to Clube Naval Piraquê and needs a win to continue its title fight. It's win or lose!
Flamengo lost the first group match to Clube Naval 11-4, but put in a strong performance. With a little more luck, things would have been different. They suffered three close losses in tiebreakers, and our star Open Category duo, Bruno Lapolli and Rodrigo Melo, had to retire due to physical problems.
Our biggest highlights were the victory of Uruguayan Tito Sarnícola, in the men's singles match, and the triumphs of the pairs Eduardo Serpa/Eduardo Nunes, Gentil Reis/Renato Sanz and Genil Mazza/Gustavo Carvalho.
Genil and Gustavo represented the club with great determination in the Open Category, defeating the very strong Léo Canhoto and Rafael Lourenço with scores of 4-6, 7-5, and 10-8. An unforgettable match!
Captain Eloadir Rocha hasn't yet announced the lineup, but he guarantees the team will be at full strength and asks for the support of the red-and-black fans! With a full house, our chances of victory greatly increase.
Tijuca is coming with great players like Leandro Degow, Mário Vanzillota, and the legendary Egberto Caldas. We need to turn Gávea into a cauldron. Let's go for them!
