Wednesday was a day of social action for Flamengo Regatta Club. In the morning, in support of the Flamengo influencers' campaign, hand sanitizer was delivered to the Vila Triagem community in the North Zone. In the afternoon, the third donation from "SOS Favela/Viva Rio e Nação Solidária, Flamengo champion on and off the field" took place, this time in the Rio das Pedras favela in the West Zone.

Once again, basic food baskets were purchased at local markets to boost local businesses during this pandemic. Residents of Rio das Pedras also received hygiene items. Flamengo's Social Responsibility Manager, Camila Nascimento, spoke about the importance of continuing the initiative.

"We continue to make donations at a time when collective thinking is crucial. We will continue with the campaign to contribute to prevention and try to minimize the effects of the coronavirus for those also suffering from its economic impacts," Camila emphasized.
