On Tuesday morning (05), Flamengo carried out another solidarity delivery, with the distribution of children's kits, alcohol gel and masks to residents of Complexo da Coruja, in São Gonçalo-RJ. Former player Juan and striker Vitinho, with the support of Mais Querido, delivered kits with chocolates, cookies and yogurt to the kids of the NGO Primeira Chance, which serves children from local communities with various cultural and sporting activities.

Knowing how difficult it is to keep kids at home during this period of social isolation, Juan and Vitinho released a video on their social media encouraging children to stay home during quarantine. In exchange, the red-and-black athletes would donate kits containing several delicious surprises. The initiative is a way to support families in the challenge of keeping their children at home during isolation.

"Today, Flamengo came to visit our students. It was a huge relief amidst the tension we're experiencing. We're grateful for the partnership with the Club and the players Vitinho and Juan, as well as their wives Hanna and Monick, who, even from afar, are helping to care for our children as always. The donations of hand sanitizer and kits for the kids were incredibly generous. Nothing will ever make up for the look on the kids' faces when they saw the Club employees, whom most of them love so much. We're grateful to everyone involved in the initiative, to Flamengo and its team, who threw themselves body and soul into this forgotten place," said Douglas Oliveira, president of the NGO Primeira Chance.

In addition to the children's kits, Flamengo also distributed more than 500 units of hand sanitizer, a product licensed by the Club in partnership with LBBio (Brazilian Biology Laboratory), and masks. Camila Nascimento, Flamengo's Social Responsibility Manager, was present for the deliveries.
