Flamengo Regatas Club has reached two more agreements with the families of the Ninho Boys who were victims of the terrible fire on February 8, 2019, at the George Helal Training Center. After extensive discussions with Flamengo's Vice President of General and Legal Affairs, Rodrigo Dunshee, the parents of Arthur Vinicius and Pablo Henrique reached an understanding. With these two, the club now has eight and a half agreements—with those responsible for Arthur Vinicius: Athila Paixão, Bernardo Piseta, Gedson Santos, Jorge Eduardo, Samuel, Pablo Henrique, Vitor Isaías, and Rykelmo's father—sealed between the club and the families.

"We spoke with the boys' parents (Arthur Vinícius and Pablo Henrique) and closed two more agreements. I had the opportunity to get closer to them. Everyone has their own time, it's a very painful situation. They are right in some of their considerations, in thinking we could have been closer, but the differences were overcome. The loss of the boys will never be a closed chapter, but we know that the pain lessens a little when we close certain wounds, close certain issues," said Dunshee, in an interview with the Seleção SporTV program, on the afternoon of this Wednesday (23).

The red-black director also spoke about the progress of conversations with Christian Esmerio's family.

"I had a meeting with them and we talked a lot. They were very understanding with us, even though something so regrettable had happened. I feel the conversation went well. His mother said she disagreed with some things the club did. There were some misunderstandings, and other things she was right about. I apologized, and we're on the path to reconciliation. It's very important to talk face-to-face, to listen to the difficulties. It's very painful. The distance is difficult, but now we're closer," he said.

Dunshee also reiterated that it will always be Flamengo's "top priority" to serve families.

"We have never forgotten and we never will. President Landim always asked me to prioritize this issue, to be close and work with respect for the families of the athletes who died," he concluded.
