On Friday afternoon (06), another idol from Flamengo's history was honored in Gávea. Andrade, Tromba, was immortalized with a bust located in front of Fla Memória, at the club's main entrance. The family members of the red-black idol and some players from the fantastic 81 team, as well as president Rodolfo Landim and vice-general and legal officer Rodrigo Dunshee, were present at the event.

World champion in 1981 as a player and coach of the six-time Brazilian champion team in 2009, Andrade was grateful for the tribute.

"I'd like to thank president Rodolfo Landim and everyone involved in this tribute. When we're kids, we dream of so many things. I had the opportunity to play for a big team like Flamengo and achieve great things, but I never imagined I'd have a bust immortalized here at the club. So, today is a day of great satisfaction and joy for this moment," said the Flamengo star.

A midfielder with refined passing, Andrade wore the Sacred Mantle in 570 matches and scored 29 goals for Flamengo, winning four Rio titles, four Brazilian titles, one Libertadores and one World Cup.

The next idol to be honored will be the great goalkeeper Raul Plassmann.
