Flamengo once again demonstrated its avant-garde status by launching its Integrity Program for employees, interns, and athletes at an event held on Thursday (14). A code of ethics was distributed to attendees as a practical guide for daily use on how to establish personal and professional conduct. The launch took place in the newly reopened Salão Nobre (Noble Hall) at the Gávea headquarters and was attended by President Rodolfo Landim, Vice President of Legal Rodrigo Dunshee, and CEO Reinaldo Belotti, as well as Cátia Veloso, an external consultant who partnered with the club throughout the process.

Opening the presentation, Rodolfo Landim spoke about the importance of the Integrity and Compliance Program.
"I'm happy to conclude my six years as president by implementing this Integrity and Compliance Program we're establishing for the club. It's crucial for disseminating the principles of everything that involves our code of ethics, and this will only be implemented if you understand and practice it. I've worked at many companies, and in all of them, this existed; where it didn't exist, it was implemented. I assure you that this brings significant benefits to any institution that embraces, promotes, and practices it. And now these practices have been formally established by the club. Believe what you hear; practice them. On the administration side, you can be sure that there is a total commitment to what will be said. I'm certain that at the end of this process, we will emerge with a much better club," he said.
Rodrigo Dunshee also emphasized the importance of protecting Flamengo and its reputation, as well as thinking about modernizing the club.
"During these six years, I led the club's legal department and realized that Flamengo needed an integrity program. We also see this demand in the market. I developed this idea with Antônio Panza (director of the department) and other colleagues in the legal department, which stated that it was important to protect Flamengo and our overall reputation. It's natural that it will be a challenge at first, but the greatest beneficiaries will be the employees themselves. We must make Flamengo increasingly ethical, humane, and respectful of people. Flamengo is a century-old institution, and we must always modernize the club, preparing it for the future, just as the implementation of the first Big Four audit, for example, did. I'm certain that this compliance program will make Flamengo much better. Sponsors and society in general will increasingly see the club as a citizen club. Trust in this program; it's for you and for the world," he concluded.
Reinaldo Belotti also praised the importance of the movement.
"That's the idea, a program that puts us at the forefront of the sporting world, with good practices that protect the Flamengo name and protect us all from any possibility of individual or collective failure. We hope, want, and will do everything we can to ensure that everyone understands the program, follows it, and practices its full scope," he declared.
Cátia Veloso followed the leaders and conducted the first training session, explaining the new practices that should be adopted, employee contact channels, and documents that were made available digitally for consultation.
"We work with companies of all sectors and sizes, and seeing this room packed is an important message of your commitment, not only as employees, but also as citizens. I dare say that no other club in the world has done anything like what we're doing here: bringing everyone together in the same environment and demonstrating the importance of each of us participating in this process," he said.

A booklet “Code of Ethics and Integrity for Employees, Interns and Athletes” was given to each of those present.
