On Friday afternoon, Flamengo paid tribute to all its employees. President Rodolfo Landim presented a commemorative pin for winning the club's eighth Brazilian championship to ten club employees, who represented various departments of the club. The ceremony took place in the Moreira Leite Room at the club's headquarters and was attended by director Luiz Paulo Segond, Fla Gávea vice president Gustavo Fernandes, and Paulo César Pereira, vice president of the Secretariat.
"This pin is a way of recognizing all the employees who worked so dedicatedly during this period. This achievement belongs to everyone at the club. Everyone who in some way helped create Flamengo's greatest moments," said Landim.

- Our employees help grow our greatest asset, which is the fans, so everyone has a share and should be proud of that,” the director added.
Among the 10 employees present was Olympic Sports Coordinator Roberta Perilier. She summed up her feelings about the honor in one word: gratitude.
"We are all very grateful for everything. Our president summed it up very well in his speech. Flamengo's success is the result of all the hard work. That's what team sports are all about: you work with others and for others," he thanked.
José Pinheiro dos Santos, a security officer for the club for 42 years, also took the opportunity to thank the President for his closeness to the employees.
"We must thank the President for his conduct. His involvement and friendship with all of us employees is exceptional. There is no distancing. Furthermore, despite all the difficulties faced with the pandemic, our jobs are guaranteed. I thank you on behalf of all employees."
