Flamengo promotes awareness campaign to combat violence and sexual exploitation at Maracanã

Through its Social Responsibility department, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo held an awareness campaign to combat violence and sexual exploitation in childhood and adolescence during the team's final game at the Maracanã stadium against Corinthians. The campaign was held in honor of May 18th, a day dedicated to this cause.
The club invited a group of children and adolescents supported by the Child and Adolescent Victims of Violence Support Centers (NACA) of the FIA (Foundation for Childhood and Adolescence) and the Migration, Human Trafficking, and Human Rights Coordination Office to watch the game. Beforehand, the young people had the opportunity to walk onto the pitch of the Sacred Temple of Football, carrying an awareness-raising banner. During halftime and before the game, awareness videos were shown on the stadium's big screen.
The already traditional "Nação no Maraca" project also had another edition. This time, eight institutions that work with socially vulnerable individuals were included, totaling 300 people. See the full list below:
