On Monday (08), International Women's Day, Flamengo visited the social business 'Mulheres do Sul Global', located in Glória-RJ, which works with refugee women in Brazil. Working on economic empowerment, these women receive professional qualification in industrial sewing and, with the new trade, they are able to achieve economic integration and social inclusion in Brazil.

Through Mais Querido's Social Responsibility area, these women, mostly from countries such as Venezuela, Congo, Gambia and Colombia, have been receiving banners, flags, tarps and other waste generated by the CRF, to produce bags and accessories under the Flamengo brand, thus transforming waste generated at the club into incredible pieces of clothing.

In today's event, the women were given makeup and participated in a photo shoot with their products – bags, suitcases, and fanny packs – made from CRF waste, to convey the message of economic empowerment and social inclusion, combined with a commitment to the paradigms of sustainable production and consumption.
