The 2023 Campeonato Carioca final will be even more special for the Flamengo Nation. In partnership with the Rio de Janeiro state government and Fluminense, Flamengo's Department of Social Responsibility and Citizenship will once again promote the Flamengo Inclusion initiative, focusing on World Autism Awareness Day.

In the first leg of the state final, between Flamengo and Fluminense, next Saturday (1), 16 children on the autistic spectrum will enter the field with a banner in allusion to the cause. Mais Querido will have the participation of two institutions: Autistas Rubro-Negros and Embaixada Fla-Campos, which are already partners of the club's Social Responsibility in actions in favor of the rights of people with autism.

In 2022, Fla-Campos participated in an initiative that took 40 children with disabilities from socially vulnerable backgrounds to a Flamengo game at Maracanã. On the same day, there was also a guided tour of Gávea and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Temple of Football. Autistas Rubro-Negros is an initiative created to combine the love of the Most Beloved with the fight for social inclusion. The group is constantly at Maracanã, seeking improvements and adaptations to the space so that people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) can enjoy Flamengo games.

The date, which is celebrated on April 2, promotes knowledge and awareness about the autism spectrum, seeking to overcome prejudice against those diagnosed with a related condition.
