To raise awareness and prevent workplace accidents, promote worker health, and encourage sustainable practices, Flamengo is holding SIPATMA (Internal Week for the Prevention of Workplace Accidents and the Environment) this week, from May 20th to 24th, featuring a series of lectures and activities aimed at the club's employees and collaborators who work at both Gávea and CT George Helal. Emphasizing the importance of collective well-being in a corporate environment, the event also features partners such as Sesc Rio, which distributes membership cards; KOLETA, which offers banner recycling workshops; and Mary Kay, which offers wellness tips and anti-stress massage therapy sessions.

"These varied activities cover all SIPATMA topics over the course of a full week, providing employees with the opportunity to participate in at least one shift. The goal is for this first event to become a consistent annual program and instill a culture of long-term prevention. Guest speakers include doctors, professors, and technicians who will help raise awareness and educate our employees about everyday situations, regardless of their area of expertise. The goal is to highlight the importance of a sustainable, healthy, and safe environment that benefits everyone at the company and, consequently, at home. As our Corporate Director rightly emphasized at the official opening of SIPATMA, Flamengo is not only concerned with fulfilling its legal obligations but also with going beyond, striving for excellence and the well-being of all," says Luísa Parente, Land Sports Manager and CIPA president in the current administration.

Billy Pinheiro, the club's Corporate Director, highlighted the importance of preventive measures in the workplace and the institution's social responsibility.

"Although SIPATMA is a legal requirement, we want to take advantage of this week not only to comply with it, but to plant a seed for the creation of a culture of safety and sustainability that promotes life. Everyone can be an agent of change in their environment and an influencer so that best safety practices are adopted in their daily lives. Holding an event like this helps create this culture of safety and sustainability in the workplace across all areas of Flamengo," he emphasizes.
