In the match between Flamengo and Avaí, played last Saturday (12), the CRF Social Responsibility area promoted another edition of “Nação do Maraca”, distributing around 500 tickets for people from social projects and socially vulnerable groups to attend the farewell of Diego Alves and Diego Ribas, at Maracanã.
Among the groups present was "Autistas Rubro-negros," an organized fan club made up of people with autism. The group began in October as the brainchild of a father inspired by his 13-year-old son, Marcos Felipe, who has autism and is a die-hard Mengão fan.
"It was a fantastic experience. We saw people documenting and sharing the moment on social media. The joy on the parents' faces as their children were reunited. People who had never been to the stadium had the opportunity to take their children for the first time. The sense of acceptance, of seeing people come together for a common goal: social inclusion. We can only thank Flamengo and all our friends who are with us," said Marcos Felipe Leal, president of the Autistas Rubro-negros fan club.
The goal of the "Autistas Rubro-negros" is to unite the love for the team with the fight for social inclusion, as sport is made so that everyone can celebrate moments of joy, like being in a football stadium cheering and promoting social inclusion.
