The trophy, which will be awarded to the champion of the inaugural edition of the competition, arrived at the Gávea headquarters on Monday morning (May 05th) and will be available for public viewing until 05:20 pm tomorrow at the Flamengo Museum. The piece was designed by FIFA in collaboration with jewelry company Tiffany & Co.

 

Club members don't pay admission, and fan members can redeem experiences to reserve a time slot for free. Those without available points pay half price. President Luiz Eduardo Baptista, known as BAP, opened the event and was honored with a special copy of the trophy, presented by FIFA representative Clemence Delahaye, exclusively to the presidents of the clubs participating in the competition. "This trophy is a work of art, engraved on only 32 clubs in the world; Flamengo is one of them, and no one can erase it. I hope everything goes well so that the trophy returns to the Museum and stays there forever," said Bap.

 

The president sent a message to the nation: "To the Flamengo fans who will be present in the United States or around the world, I want to say that Flamengo is going all out for this World Cup. The competition's format represents an important opportunity for clubs to be recognized globally, something that previously only happened with national teams. Flamengo is proud to be a part of it." 

 

Finished in 24-karat gold with laser-engraved details, the trophy features a world map, the names of the 211 Member Associations and the six global football confederations, as well as icons of football traditions and inscriptions in 13 languages, including Braille. The adaptable design transforms the object into a striking visual structure, reflecting the innovative, inclusive, and global spirit of the new FIFA Club World Cup, which will feature 32 participants from every continent, including Flamengo.

 

Also present to honor the event was the club's former president from the 80s, George Helal, accompanied by his family.
