Flamengo receives award for social actions

This Friday (4), Flamengo received the Inspiration Trophy, during the 2nd National Club Week, which takes place from October 31st to November 6th, at the Bourbon Cataratas do Iguaçu Hotel, in the city of Foz do Iguaçu/PR. Representing the Mais Querido were the vice-president of Olympic Sports, Guilherme Kroll, and the director of the department, Marcelo Vido.

The award was given to the club's Social Responsibility initiatives. In the "Philanthropic Club" category, the award went to the DONATION OF ACCESS KITS TO TREATED WATER for people in extremely vulnerable situations in Rio, Amapá, Ceará, Alagoas, and Acre, which provided 905 people with access to a safe source of treated water. In the "Social Club" category, the SOS PETRÓPOLIS campaign was awarded, which collected tons of donations of water, food, and clothing for victims of the rains in Petrópolis during the February 2022 floods.

Promoted by the National Federation of Clubs (FENACLUBES), in partnership with the Brazilian Committee of Clubs (CBC), National Club Week is the largest club event in the country.
