Flamengo has new VPs for Social Responsibility, Consulates and Embassies, and Historical Heritage

On Tuesday (20), Flamengo announced three new vice-presidents: Social Responsibility and Citizenship, Consulates and Embassies, and Historical Heritage. Check out a little more about each one's career paths below.
Vice-Presidency of Social Responsibility and Citizenship: Kátia Santos de Alencar Alonso
Kátia is a distinguished athlete at the Club, having excelled as a rower, national champion, and 30-time state champion, and as a water polo player, two-time Pan American champion. She is an Honorary Member of the Brazilian Academy of Philosophy, holds a degree in Marketing, an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and a specialization in Third Sector Projects from FGV. Kátia is also the founder of the Sports for the Planet Institute and leads the development of the first National Climate Action Plan for Sport, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
Vice-Presidency of Historical Heritage: Pierre Alex Domiciano Batista
He is an administrator with an MBA in Project Management from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation and the University of Irvine, California. Pierre is a career employee at Caixa Econômica Federal and was president of Rio Águas, Rio Luz, and EMOP, as well as a member of the board of directors of several companies. He is currently president of Rio Eventos and now heads the Historical Heritage department.
Vice-Presidency of Consulates and Embassies: Eduardo de Sousa
An engineer with a degree from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) in Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo holds a postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and an MBA in Environmental Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He is a businessman with 30 years of professional experience in various industries and at multinational corporations, working in auditing, maintenance, and management. He also has a strong focus on coordinating people and structured projects. He will contribute to the new guidelines for Consulates and Embassies, alongside our project Ambassador and longtime idol, Leandro.
