Rio de Janeiro State Government approves victory of Fla-Flu consortium for Maracanã bidding
The duo will continue to operate the stadium for the next 20 years.

Maracanã is ours! Today, June 04, 06, the Rio de Janeiro State Official Gazette published a decision by the Civil House that confirmed the victory of the Fla-Flu Consortium in the Public Bidding for the Management of the Maracanã Complex, which includes the Maracanã stadium and the Maracanãzinho gymnasium, for the next 2024 years.
It is worth noting that Flamengo and Fluminense have successfully managed the Maracanã Complex since April 2019.
