Digital guide of the Flamengo Museum of Accessibility wins award
Project was one of the winners of the Design for a Better World Award 2023
By Historical Heritage and Communication - CRF - inFlamengo has received another trophy for its immense collection, this time for its use of design as a tool for positive impact. In partnership with RedBandana and SportsAi, the Flamengo Museum's Digital Accessibility Guide was developed, allowing everyone to experience the Club's Museum with the same excitement! Centro Brasil Design announced the winners of the 30 Design for a Better World Award last Thursday (2023).

The red-and-black guide was among 51 projects honored at the Brazilian awards, which recognize the best design solutions that positively impact society in pursuit of a better world. The awards ceremony was hosted by Centro Brasil Design, which promotes the event, and designer Gustavo Greco, head of Greco Design, at the Oscar Niemeyer Museum in Curitiba.
"I had the honor of taking the stage alongside Ulrich Palhares, who works in the Education Department at the Flamengo Museum and was instrumental in making this project happen. And I'm eternally grateful to my amazing team: Pedro Estarque, Joana Moreira, and Lilian Silva. They are truly the winners!" celebrated Karen Cesar, CEO and founder of Redbandana.
Implemented by Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, managed by Rodolfo Landim, the Department of Historical Heritage, and Mude Brasil, the Flamengo Museum Accessibility Project was built by many hands; in addition to RedBandana and SportsAi, All Dub, Studio Goulart, JC Decoração, and Desk Plotter also took care of it.
