Flamengo idols Adílio, Nunes, Mozer, Andrade and Juan donate blood at Hemorio
Donating blood is a voluntary act that can save the lives of patients in cases of major surgeries, blood transfusions and serious accidents.

According to the Ministry of Health, COVID-19 is more lethal among men over 60 and those with comorbidities (the occurrence of two or more related diseases in the same patient at the same time). Thus, heading into November, the CRF and some of its biggest idols visited Hemorio on Monday, November 09th, to raise awareness among society, especially men, about the importance of early diagnosis for men's health, especially in preventing prostate cancer, and to encourage blood donation.
Welcomed by the Director of Hemorio, Dr. Luiz Amorim, former Flamengo athletes Adílio, Andrade, Nunes, Mozer, and Juan donated blood and encouraged fans to visit the Blood Bank and donate, as November also marks World Blood Donor Day (November 25th). It's important to keep blood supplies high during the run-up to the holiday season.
