Last Saturday (10), the launch of the new Flamengo School shook Belford Roxo. The unit, located on Rua Quinze de Novembro, Lotes 2 and 4, hosted an event that ran from 10 am to 17 pm, during which the kids enjoyed various sports and entertainment activities, with the presence of athletes from the professional squad of Flamengo football and Mercado Livre, Flamengo's official sponsor.

"We welcomed these kids. We're sure that the launch of the new Flamengo School in Belford Roxo was a defining moment for many Flamengo families," said Gustavo Oliveira, Vice President of Communications and Marketing at Mais Querido.

At the start of the event, Mercado Livre presented the athletes with new uniforms. Then, a mini-tournament featuring the under-7, under-9, under-11, under-13, under-15, and under-17 categories entertained the participants, who also enjoyed various games and challenges with the students in attendance, earning some truly special prizes, including clothing from the Flamengo School catalog, also provided by the company. To liven up the party even more, Flamengo's official mascots, Urubão and Binho, kept everyone entertained during the opening ceremony, alongside Bateria 51 of the Fla-Manguaça Fan Club.

"We couldn't have had a better, more committed team. We were able to build this event responsibly, delivering everything for the children. Ultimately, that's what's great: seeing the children happy with what we do. Mercado Livre and Flamengo gave us immense support in making this event possible. It was a true team effort," said José Martins, president of Time Forte.

To top it all off, the arrival of multi-champion stars Bruno Henrique and Rodrigo Caio, wearing the Manto, thrilled Flamengo fans of all ages. The players not only shared photos and autographs, but also gave out six signed official Flamengo jerseys to the students who won the games played throughout the day.

"We believe in the role of sports in the development of children and young people, and so we're thrilled to be part of this special delivery! At Mercado Livre, we're used to delivering packages every day, but now, being able to deliver hope and education by supporting another soccer school alongside Flamengo is another great chapter in this partnership between Latin America's largest e-commerce site and Brazil's biggest club," says Thais Souza Nicolau, Mercado Livre's Branding Director. In addition to sponsoring the professional men's and women's teams, Mercado Livre partners with Time Forte in 90 Flamengo schools and offers scholarships to over 500 girls across Brazil through the Elas Jogam project.
