Landim Benemérito, Totói stealing the show and Helal applauded: Gávea hosts traditional Solemn Meeting
Event honors Redeemed members, employees, award-winning athletes and Emeritus, Benefactors and Grand-Benefactors members

The evening of this Friday (29) was a Solemn Meeting at the Gávea social headquarters. The recently renovated Salão Nobre hosted the traditional event, which aims to honor members who completed 50 years of associative life, congratulate employees with 30 years of services rendered and laureate athletes, as well as award honorary titles of Honorary, Emeritus, Benefactor and Grand-Benefactor member.
Highlights included President Rodolfo Landim receiving his Honorary Membership, along with Honorary Memberships from Rio de Janeiro Governor Cláudio Castro and Totói, son of idol Everton Ribeiro and a national favorite, who stole the show with his sweetness and love for the Club. Among the evening's most moving moments, longtime president George Helal received a standing ovation from everyone present when he was invited to present the Redeemed Membership to his son, Ronaldo Helal. Afterwards, a beautiful tribute was paid to Eduardo Vinícius, a great Flamengo fan who left us this year and whose Grand Benefactorship was received by his daughters, with a moving speech.
