Luiz Eduardo Baptista is elected the new president of Flamengo
The election was held this Monday (9), at the Gávea headquarters; Bap received 1.731 votes from a total of 3.272 members who attended the election

Flamengo held its election for the next three years this Monday (9). With 1.731 votes, Luiz Eduardo Baptista, known as Bap, was elected president until the end of 2027, alongside Flávio Willeman, General Vice President.
The election was held at the Hélio Maurício gymnasium, from 8 a.m. to 21 p.m., and proceeded smoothly. Three slates ran in the election: Slate 1, the winners, List 2, of Mauricio Gomes de Mattos and Wellington Silva, and List 3, of Rodrigo Dunshee and Marcos Bodin. It is worth noting that, for the first time in history, votes were cast using electronic voting machines, provided by the TRE-RJ.
In total, 3272 members in good standing and eligible to vote attended the club to exercise their right to vote. This was the highest number of voting members in the club's history.
