The new Flamengo Museum is open to the Red-Black Nation! This Friday (4), the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo held an inauguration ceremony at its Gávea headquarters, which was attended by the press and some authorities. Starting this Saturday (5), from 10 am to 18 pm, the museum will be open to the public. Fans who purchased their ticket in advance will have priority access.

"This is a long-held dream, a project that has existed for a long time within the Club and that we have now been able to deliver to our members and fans. I'm certain that the Red-Black Nation will have an unparalleled experience: the history of Flamengo told in a spectacular way," said president Rodolfo Landim.

Zico, Flamengo's greatest idol in history, also gave a speech at the inauguration ceremony and spoke about the importance of the museum in reviving Flamengo's history.

"It's an immense source of pride. This was generated by all the athletes who wore the Sacred Mantle. I speak on behalf of all the athletes who passed through but aren't here. I visited some museums and couldn't understand why Flamengo didn't have one. Congratulations to the heritage and all those who passed through and tried to do their best. I was fortunate to pass through and contribute great achievements to the club," said the eternal number 10.

In addition to Rodolfo Landim and Zico, the inauguration event was attended by Vice President Rodrigo Dunshee de Abrantes, Vice President of Historical Heritage Luís Fernando Fadigas, Federal Deputy Pedro Paulo, State Secretary of Culture Daniela Barros, State Secretary of Health Dr. Luizinho, Municipal Secretary of Sports Guilherme Schleder and the President of the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation, Rubens Lopes.

The museum
The Flamengo Museum will occupy an area of ​​1.200 m², with future expansion planned to 2.000 m². Across 14 themed areas, it will tell the story of the Most Beloved, showcasing its greatest achievements, protagonists, and all-time idols. The 81 World Cup title has a special space, reminiscent of Tokyo. The museum showcases much more than just football; characters from all sports that have made the club's history are remembered. It's a true journey through time. There is also an area dedicated to basketball, the Pride of the Nation. The project was developed by MUDE, which has designed, implemented, and managed museums in the Americas and Europe for over twenty years, having completed projects for giants such as Juventus, Benfica, River Plate, Wembley Stadium, and the CONMEBOL Museum.
