On the eve of Flamengo Day, a votive Mass for Saint Jude Thaddeus is held in Gávea
Commemorative date is a tribute to the club's patron saint
By Flamengo Communication - inOn the afternoon of this Wednesday (27), the traditional votive Mass for Saint Jude Thaddeus was held at Flamengo's headquarters. This time, the celebration was even more special, as it marked the eve of Flamengo's Day, which is celebrated on October 28th as it is also celebrated on this date, the day of the club's patron saint.
Father Sidnei Júnior, from the Parish of São Lourenço, led the celebration, which took place at the club's main entrance and was attended by president Rodolfo Landim and Angela Landim, statutory director of Social Responsibility, as well as members, employees and fans of Mais Querido.
Mass takes place every 4th Wednesday of the month, with the next one scheduled for November 24th.
