This Saturday, March 30th, Flamengo fans will have a special boost for the first game of the Campeonato Carioca final. In another edition of the "Nação no Maraca" initiative, which is part of Flamengo's Social Inclusion agenda, 10 people will be represented by XNUMX social institutions from Rio de Janeiro, coming from different locations, such as CUFA – Central Única das Favelas; Autistas Rubro-negros; Coletivo Mães da Gávea; Girls Who Love Football, from Jardim América; Social Project Esporte Presente, from Nova Iguaçu; Social Project Primeira Chance, from Complexo da Coruja; Thinking about Safety, from Andaraí; NGO Absorbing Love, from Gávea; Associação Recomeçar, from Freguesia; and Bom Esporte CDD, from Cidade de Deus.

Last year alone, the initiative benefited 11.600 people who had the unique opportunity to experience the excitement of a Flamengo game. Through the initiative, indigenous people, homeless people, people serving socio-educational measures, refugees, people with disabilities, and those assisted by social institutions have visited Maracanã. By providing this unique experience, the "Nação no Maracanã" initiative not only offers entertainment and leisure, but also promotes the breaking down of barriers, social inclusion, and the appreciation of vulnerable groups, often invisible to society. Maracanã, once associated only with the sporting spectacle, becomes a space of welcome and equality.
