Clube de Regatas do Flamengo deeply regrets the death, last Thursday (10/02), of the member Grande-Benemérito Romualdo Taranto, affectionately known at the Club as "Seu Neném", a natural member of the Deliberative and Administrative Councils.

In the late 80s and early 90s, he headed several professional football delegations and became director of football. He was elected a full member and then vice-president of the Fiscal Council from 1991 to 1992. He also served as president of the General Assembly from 1995 to 1996.
