Note of condolence - José Maria Sobrinho
By Communication - Flamengo - inClube de Regatas do Flamengo deeply regrets the death of the Honorary José Maria Teixeira da Cunha Sobrinho, a natural member of the Deliberative Council and an elected member of the Board of Directors.
José Maria Sobrinho was Vice President of Information Technology from 1995 to 2002 (preparing Flamengo's information technology plan), Vice President of Remo from 2003 to 2013 (in this first year, Flamengo was state champion, after a five-year drought), Vice President of Planning from 2005 to 2008 (collaborating in the preparation of the basic guidelines for action (DBA) for 2007 - 2009), provided advice to the presidency (member of the Institutional Reform Commission, of the Presidency, from 2004 to 2007) and was organizer and coordinator of the Seminar "A New Management Model for Flamengo", in May 2003, with the participation of 329 associates.
Sobrinho was also the first Executive Director of Football in Flamengo's history, in 2004, under the Márcio Braga administration.
Flamengo sends its condolences to the family and friends at this difficult time. The wake will be held this Friday, from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m., in Chapel 7 of the Carmo Memorial, in the Caju Cemetery.
