Clube de Regatas do Flamengo publicly expresses its absolute repudiation of the actions of the National Basketball League's refereeing team in the match held yesterday against the Franca team.

The conduct of the arbitration was completely inefficient, inappropriate and acted with serious incompetence. 

Although Flamengo does not believe or accuse the referee of bad faith, it is worrying to observe that there was a serious reversal of fouls, the use of different criteria (from the season and other series) and erroneous conclusions, which clearly influenced the result of the match.

In addition to this factor, Flamengo regrets and repudiates the fact that the refereeing team and representatives allowed intolerable hostility to prevail and be permitted in this same match, including an attempted attack by a fan on our athlete, among other absurd situations.

It's worth noting that nothing has been done to improve the level of refereeing. Flamengo believes that grappling, pushing, and moving blocks are permitted, and that these practices have degraded the technical and tactical quality of the final. 

Regarding yesterday's game, just to give an example, in the last 5 minutes, we highlighted 11 clear situations that went against Flamengo:

- Twice as many free throws shot in the match: Franca with 22 free throws; Flamengo with 11 free throws. 

- 4'44 foul on Jaú on the rebound. 

- 4'28 lack of attack on Loku Cuello. 

- 3'42 Slap on Loku's arm. 

- 2'58 foul in Jaú. 

- 2'30 foul on Scott Machado's 3-pointer. 

- 1'24 foul on Jaú's rebound; referees went to review at Franca's request, as he no longer had a challenge. 

- 1'06 they put 24” instead of 14”. They delayed 3 seconds.

- 43” whistled free kick from Didi. 

- 39” foul called by Loku.

- 20” foul on Scott Machado.

Given the gravity of the facts described, Flamengo, from now on, demands immediate measures from the League and its directors to remedy the glaring failures that have been occurring, and it is certain that the club will present a formal complaint against the arbitration and the referees involved.
