Clube de Regatas do Flamengo was summoned by the CBF to a meeting of the National Club Commission, on September 26, 2020, to discuss the issue of "resumption of public attendance in stadiums".  

 

The National Club Commission is an accessory statutory body of the CBF, formed by 9 (nine) clubs from series A, B, C and D, which meet to present suggestions for improvements and modernization of Football to the CBF, which is responsible for accepting them or not, as stated in its statute.

Flamengo is not one of the 9 (nine) members of the CNC, but was invited to the meeting as a mere guest.

Flamengo declines the invitation, as it understands that the topic at hand is outside the jurisdiction of the clubs and the CBF, and that there is nothing to suggest or decide on in a matter whose attribution is exclusive to local public authorities, as has already been decided by the Supreme Federal Court.
