Analyses of financial statements that relate the commission value exclusively to the value of the economic right (transfer fee) do not reflect the percentage actually paid in the transaction. This is because the total cost of a signing may include, in addition to the transfer fee, other components such as signing bonuses, salaries, and image rights, which also form part of the economic basis of the deal.
