Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the decision of the Federal Court of São Paulo that determined the delivery of the “Taça das Bolinhas” to São Paulo Futebol Clube was reconsidered this Monday (July 13), after an appeal filed by Flamengo.

Upon re-examining the case, the 12th Federal Civil Court of São Paulo revoked the order to deliver the trophy and dismissed São Paulo's request, recognizing that jurisdiction to decide on the destination of the Cup lies with the Court of Rio de Janeiro.

The Taça das Bolinhas trophy therefore remains in the custody of Caixa Econômica Federal, exactly as determined by the Rio de Janeiro courts. Flamengo remains confident in the definitive recognition of its rights to the trophy.
