In a Christmas campaign, Flamengo went to Morro do Salgueiro last Wednesday (15) and distributed new toys, clothes and shoes to children in the community, which is located in the North Zone of RJ. The gifts were given by employees and members of Mais Querido, through a sponsorship campaign designed by the club's Social Responsibility department.
In addition to Morro do Salgueiro, the sponsorship campaign also included children from seven other communities: Ladeira dos Tabajaras, Cantagalo, Rocinha, Vila Aliança, Mineira, Morro São João and Complex da Coruja, in São Gonçalo.
At the event, idol Adílio dressed up as Santa Claus, and together with his helpers, athletes Heitor Carrulo, from water polo, and Leticia Porat, from volleyball, made the children happy by delivering gifts.

"We are very happy with Adílio's presence on this blessed afternoon, where our children had the opportunity to receive these toys and clothes. We are all amazed!" said Marcos Lelelo, Sports and Recreation Integrator for the Salgueiro Community and representative of the social project Sou + Ser do Bem.
The afternoon was also livened up by the presence of mascot Binho and characters Beto and Keka, from FlaMiguinhos, who played games and distributed gifts. During the event, the children enjoyed yogurt from Yorgus, Fla's partner in the campaign, which also received support from the club's Deliberative Council through donations.
