Flamengo attended Rio Innovation Week (RIW). The largest global technology and innovation event featured the participation of Flamengo's Historic Heritage Manager, Desirree Reis, who emphasized the importance of participating in promoting Flamengo's initiatives and exchanging insights.

"At Flamengo's Historical Heritage, we are advancing research, combined with technology and innovation. And being invited to participate in RIW, a renowned conference with major names in the market, allowed us not only to present important strategies of the Club in the management of its historical collections and advances in the safeguarding of sports heritage, but also to learn about and learn from different best practice initiatives around the world," explained the manager.

Desirree participated in the panel entitled “Cultural Heritage and Technology”, alongside Heloisa Queiroz, Museum Manager at the Municipal Secretariat of Culture of Rio de Janeiro, Donmi Valansi, Communications Coordinator at ArtRio, Lívia Baião, General Director of the Rio Memórias Association, and Mary Paranagua, partner at Mobile Comunicacão.

"What we presented at the panel were some initiatives that make us very proud, such as the Flamengo Museum, which is a success story, and the excellent work in research and education. The event coincided with the museum's one-year anniversary celebration. It was fantastic! The RIW audience was able to learn in detail about the impact of this "new museum" on the debate about the musealization of emotions, our progress in establishing a sports museum in Rio de Janeiro's tourism industry, as well as innovative and bold initiatives to represent an entire nation... And, they also learned the news: we are about to launch our Digital Museum," concluded Desirree.
