On the evening of last Thursday (07), the Historical Heritage promoted a tribute to the centenary of Flamengo basketball. The action, called 'Resenha Rubro-Negra' took place at Fla Memória, and was attended by Marcos Beegu (coach of the U-15 and former athlete of the club), Paulo Chupeta (technical coordinator of the base and former commander of the adult team), Pedrinho (idol) and José Neto (coach of FlaBasquete in great recent achievements).

Vice President of Historical Heritage Roberto Diniz was in attendance, as was Coordinator Bruno Lucena. Athletes from the youth teams, who recently competed in the LDB and the Brazilian Interclub U-21 Championship, were also in attendance and received various pieces of advice on continuing in the sport.

"I consider this event incredibly important for the sport. Meeting with Beegu, Neto, and Pedrinho to share stories and discuss Flamengo's achievements was fantastic. I hope this initiative, organized by the Historical Heritage, is repeated many times. New generations need to always be aware of Flamengo's greatness and what the club represents for Brazilian sport," said Paulo Chupeta.
