Paulo Dutra is the new General Director of Flamengo
Executive returns to the club with a commitment to strengthening management and driving forward the strategic objectives of the team led by Bap
By Flamengo Regatta Club - inPaulo Dutra, 58, is an executive with over 25 years of experience in leadership positions at large companies. A specialist in finance, auditing, accounting, and controlling, Paulo recently served as Chief Financial Officer of SPIC Brasil, one of the largest global companies in the energy sector, and also served as Corporate Vice President of Concremat Engenharia e Tecnologia.
Between 2013 and 2017, Paulo was Flamengo's Administrative and Financial Director, during which time he led significant transformations within the club. He was responsible for restructuring the financial department, renegotiating debt, implementing control and budgeting systems, and building the Training Center (CT), which has become a benchmark in the sport.
Paulo now assumes the position of General Director, succeeding Reinaldo Belotti Vargas, whom Flamengo thanks for his six years of dedication and service to the club. Paulo's return reinforces the new management's commitment to professionalization, efficiency, and institutional strengthening of Flamengo.
With his vast experience, Paulo Dutra arrives with the mission of consolidating the club as a model of sports management, aligning tradition and modernity for the challenges of the future.
