The Studio A hair salon, in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, received very special guests this Monday (05). Olympic athletes and Mais Querido collaborators participated in another action by Flamengo's Social Responsibility department for Pink October.

Vanessa Cozzi and Nayara Furtado, from rowing; Duda Miccuci and Marina Valadão (coach), from artistic swimming; canoeing coach Jessica Torgano; and artistic sports manager Roberta Perillier represented the red-and-black Olympic sports. They contributed to the Laço Rosa Foundation, Mais Querido's partner in the initiative, to make wigs for patients undergoing cancer treatment.

"Donating hair isn't easy for some women who are attached to their long hair, but I think it's a very important thing to do. We can help people going through this difficult time," said Vanessa Cozzi.

Donating for the first time in her life, rower Nayara Furtado also spoke about the opportunity.

"I'm very happy to be able to contribute to this initiative and help people struggling with cancer. From now on, I feel invigorated by this contribution and even happier to be a Flamengo athlete, a club that is spearheading this initiative. I hope more people can join forces and join this cause," said the athlete.

The “Hair, Love and Passion” campaign has as a partner, in addition to the Laço Rosa Foundation, Sportsbet.io, and support from Garnier.
