Rio de Janeiro, January 7, 2025 – Flamengo's Deliberative Council President Ricardo Lomba held his first meeting today, marking the beginning of a new era of modernization and accessibility at the club. Under the new management led by President Luiz Eduardo Baptista (BAP), the session also inaugurated the hybrid participation model, reinforcing the campaign's commitment to expanding participation and eliminating geographic barriers.

Held in a hybrid format, the meeting was attended by 404 council members in the headquarters' Main Hall and 160 remote participants, a significant number that symbolizes the openness and inclusion promoted by the new management.

The hybrid model is part of a pilot project that seeks to facilitate greater inclusion in the deliberative process. The expectation is that, within 120 days, a technological solution will be implemented to guarantee the full exercise of voting rights for virtual participants. According to Ricardo Lomba, "this is a significant step towards a more democratic and accessible Flamengo, respecting our tradition while embracing innovation."

To ensure the security and confidentiality of the deliberations, the prohibition on recordings was reiterated. The implementation of the hybrid model is seen as one of the new management's main initiatives, addressing the diversity of the board and aligning with Bap and Lomba's vision of building a unified, innovative and accessible Flamengo.

At this CoDe meeting, the renewal of sponsorships was approved: ABC da Construção, inDrive and Texaco.
