Flamengo, represented by the Social Responsibility department, carried out another action of the 'Pé de Gol' project last Wednesday (6) and was present at the Marapendi Canal, in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone of Rio. In the area, affected by environmental degradation and water pollution, 400 seedlings of native species were planted, with the support of students from the Dom Pedro I Municipal School, who had an environmental education class there.

Through the "Pé de Gol" project, for every goal scored by Flamengo in the Brazilian Championship, 10 trees are planted to contribute to the environmental restoration of degraded areas. Since the red-and-black team scored 69 goals in the last Brasileirão, a total of 690 trees have already been planted. Pé de Gol is supported by Ultra Coffee and the Km Solidário App, in addition to a partnership with CARPE Projetos Socioambientais and the NGO SOS Lagoas.
