The "Future of the Nation" project takes children, guardians and teachers to Maracanã
In a writing contest, the Social Responsibility department selects the four best productions and awards them with tickets and club shirts

This past Saturday (12) saw a beautiful night of reunion between the Nation and Maracanã. But some of the fans who were at the stadium had an even more special experience. Through the “Future of the Nation”, a project created by the red-black Fabio Justino, project coordinator at Instituto Lugar de Esperança, and embraced and executed by the Social Responsibility department, four little ones won tickets and Flamengo shirts to enjoy the Bangu x Flamengo match.
The Future of the Nation is a writing competition aimed at the public education system, with the theme "future of the Nation", which gives the project its name, and the four best written productions are awarded with tickets for the winners, as well as their guardians and teachers.
This time, the participating institution was the Apontar Institute, located in Lapa, in downtown Rio. The institution works with gifted children from public schools, mapping and offering resources and special support so these children can enroll in top public schools or receive scholarships at private schools.
