On Thursday night (16), Flamengo president Rodolfo Landim officially took office in a ceremony at the Gávea headquarters. The director was reelected on December 4, with 1.301 votes, with Rodrigo Dunshee as General and Legal Vice President. The ceremony, held in the Noble Hall, was attended by advisors, guests and club employees.

Landim and Dunshee were invited by Antônio Alcides, re-elected this week as president of the Deliberative Council, to sign the inauguration ceremony with a gold pen, respecting tradition. Alcides also handed the club's president the baton that is usually passed on by the club's last president.

"After three years here, the first thing we have to do is thank everyone who served Flamengo during these three years, everyone who was part of this administration, on all the boards, who are incredibly important people for the functioning of the machine and for the construction of everything that has been achieved. I also thank the club's employees, who worked very hard and I have come to admire them even more. I also thank the families of all of us who work here; it is often difficult due to the time we spend away from home for Flamengo," said Landim, who also spoke of his expectations for the future.

"For the next three years, we have a huge challenge ahead of us. We've accomplished a lot, but we still have much to do: more improvements at Gávea, more good things to come in soccer, Olympic sports, new financial projects, business, marketing... We have a lot already structured and thought out, and I'm sure there will be no shortage of work. Practically all the vice presidents stayed, some had to leave, but they will be replaced by great individuals who will work harmoniously and integratedly to achieve results. We've had three tough years, but even with all the problems, we've seen a very significant increase in revenue and great sporting and social results, which were a demonstration of what can be achieved. On behalf of this entire team, I promise a lot of work and a lot of sweat to make Flamengo always bigger and better," concluded the president, who was followed by his vice president, Rodrigo Dunshee.

"First of all, I endorse all the praise and thanks given by the President to the staff, colleagues, vice presidents, and presidents of power, who worked so hard while we were here. I thank theResident Landim, who faced very stressful situations here and, with all his experience, led us. We're going together for another three years. Today, I look ahead and see that a scenario of great possibilities opens up for Flamengo to become even more successful. I appreciate the opportunity to work with all of you," concluded Dunshee.
