Social Responsibility, in partnership with grassroots football observers, visits DEGASE
Four football matches were held and Flamengo representatives were able to talk to young people about the values of sport.

Last Wednesday (5), Flamengo's Social Responsibility team, in partnership with observers from Flamengo's youth football team, visited the General Department of Socio-Educational Actions (DEGASE), linked to the State Department of Education (Seeduc), to interact with socio-educational students from four of the Department's detention units.
On that occasion, four football matches were held and Flamengo representatives had the opportunity to talk to young people about the values of sport, citizenship and expanding horizons.
Understanding that sport represents much more than physical activity itself, consisting of a powerful tool to promote integration, socialization, health and development in all spheres of society, the initiative aimed to carry the message of a culture of peace and motivation, contributing to DEGASE's institutional mission of socio-educational education.
