On the evening of this Friday (29), another Solemn Meeting was held in the Noble Hall of the Gávea social headquarters. The members of the Deliberative Council were summoned for the commemorative session of the 124th anniversary of the Club and in honor of the associates who complete 50 years of associative life, employees with 30 years of services provided to Flamengo, laureate athletes and those awarded with honorary titles of Honorary, Emeritus and Benefactor associate.

"I want to congratulate everyone at the table and those present. It's a double pleasure to be here, because I was also one of those honored with the title of Emeritus Member. I thank the people who voted for me to receive this honor. But I especially thank my family, because the time we dedicate to the club comes at the expense of the time we dedicate to our families," said Landim, who concluded by celebrating Mengão's year full of glory on land and sea.

"We're ending this year happy, with great achievements, as we promised. We won everything in rowing, we were champions in basketball, we're reviving the swimming competitions, which give so much life to our club... it's wonderful to see our club full. Finally, I thank all the club's employees and directors: none of this would have happened without everyone's support and hard work," he concluded.

after aaopening of the Solemn Session and the speeches of the president of the Deliberative Council and the pFlamengo resident, Rodolfo Landim, were given the ticketstitles to the honorees, including President Landim himself, honored as Member Emeritus, as well as Nunes, the "Top Scorer of Decisions," and General Hamilton Mourão, Vice President of the Republic, both as Honorary Members. A musical performance accompanied by a cocktail reception concluded the celebrations.
