Starting next year, Flamengo members will have a new, high-quality dining option. This Friday (3), president Rodolfo Landim celebrated a partnership with the Vamo restaurant, which has Wagner Marcos Mocellin as its managing partner. The location for the restaurant will be at the club's headquarters in Gávea, in the former Mengão gas station. The launch is expected to take place in the second half of 2022.
Present at the signing were the club's CEO, Reinaldo Belotti, the vice-president of Fla-Gávea, Gustavo Fernandes, and the CEO of the partner company, Luiz Gomes.
"Today, December 3, 2021, the Vamo Group is launching this partnership with Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. Our brand is geared toward the restaurant segment, focusing on premium cuts. We strive to offer our customers, and now the Rubro-Negra Nation, an extremely high-quality dining option. We currently have locations in Santos Dumont (Bossa Nova Mall), Downtown Shopping Mall, and on Avenida Abelardo Bueno in Rio's West Zone. The restaurant has been in existence for six years and strives to offer a gastronomic experience to its customers, also offering specialty beverages, mixed drinks, and a good wine list. We believe this partnership will be a huge success," said Vamo Group CEO Luiz Gomes.
"I'm very pleased to sign this partnership with Vamo today. We've been talking to our members for a long time, and this has been a long-standing demand for a high-quality restaurant here. We conducted extensive research with our members and the Fla-Gávea team. We conducted an in-depth analysis of possibilities to meet this demand and ultimately chose Vamo. I'm grateful that they agreed to partner with us, and we're absolutely certain it will be a great success," commented Rodolfo Landim.
The president of the club concluded by talking about the importance of the club's new spaces that will once again serve members.
"Another thing we had promised was to return the use of the former parking lot and gas station area to members, with leisure options. Last Thursday, we opened the Children's Water Park, and we'll have this other area of the restaurant open to members very soon. I want to thank Vamo once again for reaching out to us and helping us in this process of identifying our needs and discussing specific aspects of the type of service and benefits we will offer to members," he concluded.
